Isley Street
Project: renovation of a 3 bedroom Queenslander
Location: Isley Street, North Ward Timeframe: 10 weeks
TCNQ had recently completed a full house renovation for this client at Clayton St, they were so happy with that reno that they asked us to complete one at their house.
At first we only went there for a kitchen quote but that soon expanded into doing a full house reno as the scope was extended massively. We removed all the wall sheets and ceilings in this house, removed doorways to create more open space, all new electrics whilst the sheeting was off, changed air con locations and installed new air cons.
New timber framing for ceilings and wall that were removed, all new sheeting VJ panelling to all the walls and VJ panels to the ceiling, creating a very Hamptons vibe, (our signature Townsend style)
We removed all the old casement windows and had them replaced with all new custom-made timber casement windows, new custom-made shutter blinds were also created inside all the new casements.
Removed the old kitchen, custom-made a new kitchen with clean lines throughout, stone bench tops and a subway vertical splash back as per their brief, plus a wine fridge we installed at the back of island bench.
Old flooring was sanded back and real sealed. Main bedroom had new custom-made robes. Colonial skirting and architraves throughout the house, and the French doors were taken away and dipped, all the old paint removed and then re-putted and re-painted.
